Meet The 2021 Junior Olympians

D'Annah Davis competed in 15-16 y/o female group at Regionals and placed 1st in Javelin with a throw of 96' 02" and 5th in the Shot Put with 29' 06".  At the AAU Junior Olympics she placed 7th overall in the Javelin with a throw of 107'02" and 45th in the Shot Put with 28' 9.00"

Tonio Davis competed in the 13 y/o male group at Regionals and placed 4th in the 200m dash with a time of 25:68, qualifying him for Nationals. He also placed 6th in the 400m dash with a time of 1:02.20.  At the AAU Junior Olympics he placed 59th overall in the 400m dash with a run of 1:01.4.

Jakil Dawson competed in the 12 y/o male group at Regionals and placed 2nd in Turbo Javelin with a throw of 92' 07" and 3rd in the Shot Put with 31' 04.5".  At the AAU Junior Olympics he placed 49th overall with a throw of 63' 05" and 21st overall with a throw of 33' 06.5".

Abby Malesiewski competed in the 12 y/o female group at Regionals and place 2nd in the 80m Hurdles with a time of 14:48.  At the AAU Junior Olympics she placed 13th overall running 13:03.

Sawyer King competed in the 10 y/o male group at Regionals and placed 5th Turbo Javelin in the with a throw of 49’ 00”.  At the AAU Junior Olympics he placed 36th overall with a throw of 54' 07".

Harmony Thurston competed in the 10 y/o female group at Regionals and placed 1st in the Turbo Javelin with a throw of 47' 02".  At the AAU Junior Olympics she placed 29th overall with a throw of 40' 04".

Jakari Dawson competed in the 9 y/o male group at Regionals and placed 3rd in the Long Jump with a jump of 10' 1.75".  At the AAU Junior Olympics he placed 43rd over all with a jump of 10' 05".

Violet Slagle competed in the 9 y/o female group at Regionals and placed 4th in the Shot Put with a throw of 8' 03.5"

Emelle Davis competed in the 8 and under male group at Regionals and placed 6th in Turbo Javelin with a throw of 34' 02" and 4th in the Shot Put with a throw of  11' 10.75".  At the AAU Junior Olympics he placed 55th over all throwing 14' 08".
